Platform Service

We service your aerial work platform

Like all other constructions, platforms will become frail if not properly maintained. Therefore, it is important that your platform undergoes regular service and an annual service inspection.

As a platform owner, you are free to choose where you want your service to be performed. Our workshops are approved by the Danish Construction Association via Liftkontrol, so your platform is in good hands with us. We can service all kinds of hydraulic and electric platforms from any manufacturer - including scissor lifts, boom lifts, trailer lifts, platforms mounted on cars and more. We have two Danish service locations in Farsø and Ringsted as well as five service technician's vehicles which are always ready to set out on the road, and outside of Scandinavia, our respective dealers provide service. You are never far from a Danilift workshop.

At Danilift, we make sure that your expectations are always met when it comes to service and safety. We continuously train our staff to ensure that they are always up to date on the newest knowledge in the field, so that we can give you the best possible service.

We are a Service Partner to Rosenbauer and Palfinger Platforms, so you can rest assured that your equipment is in safe hands with us.

Cooperation with Liftgruppen

Danilift A/S is a member of the Danish interest group Liftgruppen, which is founded by the Machinery Department (Materielsektionen) of the Danish Construction Association. In collaboration with the Danish Technological Institute, the General Worker's Union in Denmark and the Danish Working Environment Authority, Liftgruppen has created the system Liftkontrol. Liftkontrol is your guarantee that your equipment is in good condition according to all applicable rules and standards.

Workshop Requirements

In order for a workshop to be approved by The Danish Construction Association Liftkontrol, all staff, technichal equipment and procedures must live up to the following requirements:

  • Technical qualifications for performing platform inspections.
  • A documentation system which ensures that all necessary work tasks are carried out during inspections.
  • A filing system for documentation of the work done on the platform. Reports must be procurable an hour after registration in the files.

Random Sample Check

The Danish Technological Institute is responsible for checking if the approved workshops meet the Liftkontrol requirements. The check is done through random sampling.

Random sample checks are performed on at least 5% of all platform inspections in approved workshops. This provides statistical certainty that the quality level of access platforms with the Liftkontrol mark live up to the current regulations regarding high safety standards.

Registration of Inspected Platforms

On the platform, you can find information about where, by whom and when the last inspection was done, as well as information on when the next inspection is to be performed.

Furthermore, all approved platforms have a sticker with a QR code on them, which can be scanned with a smartphone to show all available service information about the platform.

Further Information on Liftgruppen

Liftgruppen is a part of the Machinery Department (Materielsektionen) within the Danish Construction Association.

The members of Liftgruppen are owners and renters of platforms and lift machinery in a broad sense. Liftgruppen works to promote a safe environment for the users of lifting equipment, and the members of the group notify of any accidents and risks when using the equipment.

The exchange of this information helps raise the standards and safety levels for the members' own employees, renters and users of access platforms.
