The P170V is a specially designed access platform for underground operations in demanding mining environments, developed specifically with underground cable installation in mind. The access platform itself is based on our well-known Light Series and is mounted on a specially adapted MAN chassis, available in both high and low configurations.
The unit is designed without outriggers, with a total vehicle weight of up to 18 tonnes providing the necessary stability. It can operate safely on slopes of up to 16°, while the cage automatically levels to remain horizontal regardless of the vehicle’s inclination. The cage is also equipped with a specially designed arm for cable installation beneath mine ceilings.
All exposed components, including lights, reflectors and control panels, are protected by steel frames.
