Through concrete initiatives such as life cycle analysis (LCA), the use of green wind energy, material recycling, and innovative solutions like our own E-Drive system, we take an active role in the green transition.

At Danilift, we think green in both big and small decisions: we sort waste, reuse materials whenever possible, optimize energy consumption in our production, and choose suppliers who share our values.
As an ISO 14001-certified company, we have a documented and structured environmental management system that helps us continuously improve our efforts. Through our LCA (Life Cycle Analysis), we gain insights into our products’ environmental impact throughout their entire lifecycle – from raw materials to recycling.
An important part of our green initiatives is that all of Danilift’s electricity consumption is covered by WIND energy from Danish wind turbines. This means our electricity use is CO₂-neutral through certified green energy – a natural choice that both supports the Danish wind energy sector and reduces our overall climate footprint.
To create a more accurate overview of our environmental impact, we use Verarca – a Danish software solution that automatically calculates our CO₂ footprint using artificial intelligence. The platform analyzes data directly from our accounting system, making it easier to prepare climate accounts and ESG reports in accordance with legislation and customer requirements.
We also actively support reuse and the extension of our products’ lifespans. Our service department has carried out several major renovation projects where used access platforms have been given new life and new functions. It’s not always necessary to buy new – in some cases, we can create modern, reliable solutions on an existing foundation.

A good example is the Danilift E-Drive – our self-developed, rechargeable battery solution for electric lift operation. With E-Drive, the access platform can be operated electrically even when mounted on a fossil-fuel-powered vehicle. This means the vehicle’s PTO does not need to run during lift operation, significantly reducing CO₂ emissions.
